Mr. Ulloa did graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Music Performance with a major in Flute from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico). Afterwards he continued his education in the USA. Before coming to Switzerland in 2000, he taught Music at the International Secondary School Mary Mount in Cuernavaca, Mexico and at the Public Secondary School Jose Marty in Mexico City. At a higher level, he was also a Flute, Chamber Music Professor and Band Conductor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

During eight consecutive years, Mr. Ulloa did work as an Elementary Music Teacher at the International School in Basel. At the end of every school year presented with all his students an outstanding Evening Gala Concert. In 2003, he was certified in Switzerland by the Schweizericher Musikpädagogisher Verband (Swiss Musical Pedagogical Association). This qualification allowed him to be a substitute teacher at the Riehen Musik Schule over one year (August 2003 – April 2004).

He has a profound interest in developing children pedagogical skills in parallel with his performance carrier. Therefore, since 1981 he has been constantly taking musical education courses with a specific pedagogical orientation with world known professors. Some examples of these courses are: Methodology and Didactics in Musical Initiation, Willem´s techniques, ORFF Schulwerk Schweiz, Music and Dance in Education (Spain), and Elementare Musicpädagogik (Switzerland).

You can be sure that after six months working with Mr. Ulloa, every student will be able to make music the voice of his/her soul.
